Good old fashioned, dirty hard rock songs with massive sounding distorted guitar riffs, ear splitting drums, and piercing, gravelly voices are not dead. And Brighton's sleazy riff merchants Stone Angels are definitive proof of that.

You can hear straight away that they are heavily influenced by the American rock scene. There is a definite Black Stone Cherry vibe to their music. Mix in a touch of British rock legends Led Zeppelin, and a vocal tone that reminds of Ozzy Osbourne and you get the idea of what heaviness is in store.
Their songs are based on catchy melodies and simple riffs that grab your attention. A formula that brought Black Sabbath much success. The songs manage to fill the room with huge sounds but also leave enough space to breathe so that they don't become just noise and screaming vocals.
With their debut album Give In To Temptation already released and gained local radio play, the band are looking to push the musical career forward. They have pub, club, and festival shows under their belts and a lot of social media buzz.
Despite the rock n roll persona of the band they still pride themselves on being respectful and professional in attitude. So go grab a cold beverage and catch them around Brighton and beyond.
