What do you get when you fuse jazz with rap/spoken word? I'll tell you, you get KaT's Head. That's what. KaT's Head is an artist who's latest single is delicate, ambient, and minimalistic which is piano and drum centric. Her soothing rapping over the top of it manages to combine a soft, feminine quality but still has a much needed edge to it.

When not performing with a full band, KaT's Head is played as just a solo acoustic guitar performance which gives her songs a intimate and earthy vibe.
KaT has been mesmerising venues throughout Brighton for a few years now. Her confidence and lyrical substance was born out of rap battles with her siblings and attending many of Brighton's freestyle rap evenings. She started her journey by writing poetry which eventually lead her to finding hip hop.
Along with her latest single, Guilt Is Golden, there is a visually stunning music video for the song which marries vintage dress styling with modern interpretative dance.
Elegant yet streetwise best sums up KaT's Head. Check her out, you won't be disappointed.
