Getting political!

Formed around the South Coast of Sussex, Forest of Four are a four piece indie rock band that bring a political and social message to their music but with a pop sensibility. And with influences such as the Sex Pistols, New Order and The Smith, you can see how listening to punk and post punk has inspired them to create a more mainstream, palatable sound but full of social awareness.

With a topical track in their set list called Strong And Stable, they have managed to align with Conservative leader and prime minister Theresa May but obviously this is a jab in the face to political hypocrisy. Rage Against The Machine this is not, but a quirky, down played version of political discourse which is equally as valid.
Looking slightly awkward and unfordable whilst playing onstage gives them a certain charm and seems to fit with the indie and slightly shoe gaze vibe they have. Some more stage presence wouldn't go amiss though, even if it's just some head or body movement to groove with the music more. Show the crowd that you care about what you're playing and they will get into the music a lot more.
