Describing her music as modern indie soul, Taylor Barker AKA La Plage composes pop songs that range from guitar driven, piano lead, to soothing electronic ambient feeling tracks. She has a vulnerability to her voice whilst singing that draws the listener in and form a connection with Taylor and the music. The versatile nature of songs is a rewarding musical journey from lively upbeat guitar orientated songs to soulful, electronic dream pop.

Making her way from London to Brighton, La Plage brings the soul and urban flavour of our capital city to the bohemian trappings of Brighton. She has just played a Brighton's Great Escape and is in the process of playing many other gigs locally.

La Plage can be heard in a live setting as Barker on her own performing as a singer songwriter, or with a full band behind her.
