Rolling stone gathers no Moss

Caitlin Moss and her band are a self described pop band that are making incredibly melodic, soulful music. Judging by the songs they perform and looking through the bands history, Caitlin has obviously moved from being a solo singer songwriter performer to playing with a full band. The songs have a distinct acoustic guitar backbone to them.

The band have been playing all around Brighton for the last couple of years now. They have played both stripped back unplugged style gigs as well as full on electric gigs. Their songs fit both types of gigs well because of the acoustic singer songwriter background of Caitlin.

A song like "Somewhere" blends beautiful, soulful lyrics with equally melodic yet sparse rhythm guitar, a nod to their singer songwriter past. Another fun, funky, soulful song is "Be The One" which is great pop song with a sense of Amy Winehouse meets Beyonce. Hopefully new music that expands on what they are playing now will be in the near future.
