Brighton trip hop vibes

A very interesting band from Brighton are Hava, a four piece creating dark and ambient trip hop rock which is an unique sound for this south coast scene. To best describe their sound would be if Bjork, Radiohead, and Soundgarden had a musical baby.

Combining atmospheric sounds with hard rock tones give the band's music a brooding vibe which leads from moody quieter passages to a full on, in your face musical punch which works extremely well.

Their lyrics are what you'd expect from a band expressing battles against personal demons and social issues faced by us all but their music doesn't come across as self pitying at all. Instead it has a feeling of self empowerment and and sense of fighting back against social injustices they see and experience.

They are playing shows all over the south coast scene and they are definitely not to be missed if they come to your neck of the woods.
