Brighton noise makers Broadbay

Calling Brighton their second home via Northampton, Broadbay are grunge through and through. Heavily distorted riffs combined with cleaner melodic parts and gravely voiced anger, their shows are fun, noisy, and ever so loud. Living the skateboarding, alcohol swigging, transient lifestyle of a true alt rock band, these guys are a full on nostalgic trip and nod of the hat to grunge's past glory days.

Being the quenticential three piece band they have a simple setup but their sound is full and fat. Frontman has a Kurt Cobain like introspective demeanour that can suddenly explode into a full on angst ridden scream fest. The rest of the band are a tight rhythm section full of energy and passion.

Having just released an EP "Long Term Plan", they are set to tour the country again to show just what they are capable of. While their music might not be the most technical out there, they have a great energy and melodic pop sensibilities which gives the songs a vibrant life. Think pop punk but with a rawer, grittier feel to it.
