There was no short of classic and modern pop music anthems on hand at Shortts Bar Saturday 3rd December. The Main Offenders are a well oiled machine blasting out hit after hit. They sound so tight as a band and play each song with commitment and ease.

Playing a mixture of soul, funk, and rock they certainly keep the audiences attention with their diverse setlist. Their set was also 2 hours long which flew by quickly, no feeling of their set dragging out at all.
The venue for this gig was quite intimate and it was good to get a close up feel for the band, I'm sure that they would be able to play much bigger venues and fill the room with a much bigger, fuller sound to their music.
Fronting the band, Abi Vials, has the perfect soulful voice for this band but also has enough grit to do justice to the rockier songs they play.
the band are playing a few more gigs in Brighton before going onto to play as the function band on a cruise ship travelling from places such as Australia to Japan.
